Ammo Testing

Just finished yet another purchase for ammo testing on the 25.06 Tikka and the 300 Win Mag Mossberg 4x4. With my upcoming move about to happen, ammo testing will have to wait for a month or 2, but I finally have all that I wanted to test for my new rifles (Marlin 336W in 30-30, Tikka T-3 Hunter in 25.06 and my Mossberg 4x4 in 300 Win Mag). It was expensive to say the least, but I really think it will be worth it in the long run. I have at least 6-8 different bramds in the same basic weights to test. 150gr for the 30-30, 180 gr for the 300, and 110-120 for the 25.06. Down the road I plan to add the Federal Premium line and the more expensive Remington loads against the winner of the tests for each rifle. Wow, if my wife found out exactly what ammo cost for each rifle, can't even mention what she'd do on a family sight. Gonna go break in the barrel of the Tikka on Thursday at the range after a morning turkey hunt, unless I get my bird on Wednesday!!! Happy shooting, Eric....Gonna take the DPMS out too!
