bighoytman
I use the Remington sluggers in my smooth barrel with rifle sights.I used the winchester platinum 1700fps bullet in my rifled barreled gun.I tried the new Barnes/federal slug with the plastic tip. It's 2000fps and shoots really nice out to 200 yards.I think I will be shooting these from now on instead of the platinum slugs. bluelund79
2 3/4" Winchester Super X's in my Mossaberg 500 rifled slug gun. My 870 w/ Rifled choke likes the Remington 2 3/4" Rifled Slugs. I am glad my 2 deer slug guns like the cheap stuff, because my rifles love the real expensive stuff! Gonna try those new Remington AccuTips out when they hit the store shelves. I want to see how well that newNikon Slughunter works that I put on this winter.

Tecumseh
My 835 likes the remington core lokt sabots.at 100 yards they print a 1 inch group and it also shoots the buckhammer slugs great,at 100 yards they print a 2 1/2 inch group and drop deer dead in their tracks.I'm going to at some point try the federal barnes expander tipped slugs just to see how they shoot.
