Herbicides

I used to freak at the first signs of weeds/grasses. Now I've learned to live with them and don't worry too much unless they get out of control.

Take Martin's advise and don't spray now. Mowing might keep it under control and if it gets way out of control then hit it with some Poast.

I have a newly planted clover/chicory plot and it is starting out well. There are a few sprigs of grass comming up. Should I spray them now or wait and see if the clover/chicory will choke it out. Also what can I spray in this so that it wont kill the clover or chicory?

I have planted the same blend of seed in my plots. Don't worry to much about the grasses (I have/had the same concern). When everything really greens up and is in full spring in a few weeks, the clovers will really start to come through. From there, I have learned to just mow occassionally and the clovers come in thicker each time.

Don't let the anticipation be clouded by anxiety...clovers are a good seed to plant.:)
