Turkeygirl
Please let me know what you think of the patterns. My opinion...pretty darn good for a 20 ga. with a 22" barrel:cool: The first paper on the left was at 35 yards with Fed #6, the 2nd paper at 35 with the Rem Copper Mags, and the last paper at 25 yards with Rems Copper mags. I was aiming more for the base of the neck, not the center of the circle on the head, so that's why my shot looks low, but it isn't really. Looks like the last 2 Fed shells I have are going to be the first in my chamber, and then follow up with Remingtons. Next year or in the fall I'll try some Winchester HV, but for me, these patterns are as good as I'll ask for.

maytom
I agree with you, awesome patterns for a 20 gauge!!
PotashRLS
Looks great at 35yards with the Federals. The standard Federal and Winchester loads are what I use and they pattern nearly identical out of my 835. I only buy Remington Game loads for grouse hunting, otherwise its always Federal or Winchester, including rifle loads. You should have no problem inside 40 yards with that pattern! Good Luck! dawei851
Those 1&5/16oz Federal® MagShock™ # 6's are definately the way to go. They outshoot all other lead loads in my 20ga Mossberg® Mdl 500C. You could definately dump the biggest Tom in the world at 40yds the way your gun shoots those MagShok™'s!!!!! NiteRunner
Looks good! I tried the Federal #5 in mine, didn't want to work well. Rem #6 blasted plenty of holes for my liking. Good Luck!
sportsman2500
those are some good looking patterns. from the looks of it you could kill a bird with either shell. good luck to you this year!!

WaCoyote
20's are awesome. My daughter uses an 870 with a Jellyhead and #6 hevi-shot. The patterns are rediculous at 30 yards. The only turkey I've seen killed that didn't even flinch was from that setup. I'm actually considering one for myself on some of the public land I hunt since we have to hike in so far. Good luck
