NYBowhunter71
I am looking for anyone who knows of outfitters who help disabled hunters. My fatehr in law is in wheelchair and LOVES to hunt. He is able to transfer, and can walk short distances (less than 30 yds). He has pistol that he can hunt with. Anyone know where he can go on a hunt? aksheephuntress
...I can get you the info on the PVA(Paralyzed Veterans of America )moose hunts up here in Alaska....(Salcha, out of Fairbanks...)-but you don't have to be a Veteran to participate and hunt...also, there is a guy who has a website on camospace who coordinates a lot of those type of hunts...he is holding a ML bear hunt up here, soon...his name is akdoug...just go on camospace, and bring up his profile... -he seems like a genuine guy... ....non-res. moose and black bear hunts do not require to be guided up here ...and the over-the-counter tags are $400 and $225, respectively... -The fishing is great, too!...we know of some very handicap-accessible and friendly charter boats, here in Seward... -pm me, if you would like, I'll try to help however I can, or to provide additional info...(for Alaska, that is...) -

Have spent the past couple days doing exploritory work=land, housing, equipment, etc. I just hope I can get it off the ground.
Dakota
Hey, just to let you know, PCBA-inc.org is a GREAT access for things like this. Get ahold of karen and she will help you out for sure. PCBA is indeed a great organization of which I am a part of. They do an annual archery goat hunt in Wyoming each year in early September and have great success. I've seen it first hand, my elk hunt coincided with it so I was able to go to one of their evening meals and see the quality of goats they were shooting.
