dfol20
I was wondering if anyone knows of a good book on hunting out west. I don't know yet if I want to go with a guide or un-guided, hotel or camping. Is there any books that cover all the bases?
elnor
Eastmans has several good books on backcountry bowhunting, mulies, and elk, and Mike Eastman has one coming out late this year or early next on antelope. See: http://www.eastmansshop.com/store/home.php?cat=272 They are animal- or method-specific, however, not everything in one tome. I'd have to defer to someone else for suggestions on an all-in-one book.
WHISKEYSWAMP
my buddy has used Hunting fool for quite a few years and has received great advice for all his hunts out west. I would join if I was in a position to hunt more out there. http://www.huntinfool.com/

Also have a pretty nice magazine.
