muggs
it's still early in the LONG MLB season, but I think the Tribe's early struggles aren't a fluke and are really a true indication of the nature of this team. Hafner still looks lost at the plate and I'm starting to think it's 100% mental. Their starting pitching is solid, especially once Westbrook comes off the DL, but their bullpen is a major issue. It sure seems everything just sort of came together for them and Betancourt, Perez, and JoBlow all had career years. Outside of Sizemore and VMart- this offense is non-existent. They still have the starting pitching to make a run, but I think we're in for a long year in Cleveland if they don't make a move (either a trade or call up some young talent from AAA). We'll probably end up with a record like one of those bum teams like the Dodgers or something...heck, maybe even the Pirates....
Tominator
Hafner still looks lost at the plate and I'm starting to think it's 100% mental. See him in the dugout the other day knocking bats against his noggin? Kronk. Their starting pitching is solid, especially once Westbrook comes off the DL, but their bullpen is a major issue. It sure seems everything just sort of came together for them and Betancourt, Perez, and JoBlow all had career years. Lee is a surprise, and hopefully CC is going to turn it around. Outside of Sizemore and VMart- this offense is non-existent. Yup. We'll probably end up with a record like one of those bum teams like the Dodgers or something...heck, maybe even the Pirates.... muggs
Lee is a surprise, and hopefully CC is going to turn it around. Well, Lee was pretty solid over up until last year and I think he was just having issues with his mechanics then. I think he's back on track and he's commanding his pitches now. CC's had two solid back-to-back outings (one of which our terrible offense didn't give him any runs). I think we'll be okay there. Actually, the way it's looking, starting pitching will have to be their saving grace. btw- Asdrubal is terrible. I've never seen a major league hitter take so many fans at balls. I'd love to have Brandon Phillips at 2nd, and Kousmanoff at third.

muggs
In Milwaukee, don't know the name of their old field though. I could never understand why they didn't film in it the Mistake by the Lake. That old stadium was part of what made those old, horrid teams look even worse. Tominator
Old Comiskey in Chicago. Nope, muggs is right. Most of it was filmed in Milwaukee. I don't know why either, except maybe Uecker had something to do with that.
