Would be nice to see for sure Steve, heard something recently on Bush wanting to get something going, but seems he is being met with opposition(dem controlled congress), go figure. Here is an older article that is kind of interesting on the topic of ANWR, especially given current presidential race http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_qa3827/is_200012/ai_n8928585 Found this part on page two to be pretty interesting too: According to estimates by the United States Geological Survey (USGS), in addition to vast quantities of natural gas, the coastal plain contains anywhere from 6 to 16 billion barrels of recoverable oil. In other words, the area could provide 1 million barrels of oil a day for the next 25 years, and could totally replace oil imports from Saudi Arabia for over 30 years.
