lil hunter
I actually got it on Tuesday, but with work and stuff I never had time to take pics until today. It's an 01 honda CBR 600 F4i. Got a pretty good deal on it as well, about a thousand dollars cheaper than bluebook. First thing I did after gettin my permit was driving to the bike shop to buy another helmet, because the one he gave me with it was too small. Here's a pic for your viewing pleasure! lol. i actually found out today the guy I bought it from is cousins with a teacher at my school. Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
Nice bike, a buddy of mine started out with one like that, was a cbr 600, but it was the year before the f4i came out I think. good "starter" bike. Grant-KS
Congrats bud! It's a pretty one! Until you get really really really used to it, treat it with the utmost respect. A crotch rocket is a weird animal, and if you don't keep it reigned in, it'll gallop away from you whether you come with or not. I'm curious what gas mileage it'll get... Probably pretty good for your first tank or two. Oh, one more thing...don't give ANYONE a ride on it until you have completely mastered it up one side and down the other. If you have an accident and your passenger gets hurt, you're gonna feel horrible. If you anticipate taking riders, buy another fairly universally fitting helmet for passengers and make them wear it, no exceptions, for the same reason. I don't mean to sound like a spoil sport, but we aren't invincible even if we feel like it sometimes, and a bike really does have alot more opportunities to kill us than cars/trucks do. You have to be on code red alert every second that you're on the road. You never know when that old grandma that can't see worth a hoot pulls out in front of you, or that idiot runs a red light, etc. ALWAYS assume that the drivers around you do not see you. The other day in town I had a guy in an old beater truck cut me off by changing lanes about 5' in front of me, then look back with a surprised look on his face when he saw me. QDMAworks4me
My buddy has the same one, nice bike. I have a 99 f4, bought it brand new and would not trade it for any other bike. Hondas are great bikes. Mine has a full hindle exhaust, I advanced the timing, has a jet kit stage one, a k and n filter, tinted wind screen and I droped the front sprocket one tooth. I also polished the frame and wheels and color matched the center of the rims. Here is a pic
