mule659
Hey has anyone on here ever tried putting on more than one set of limb savers? The reason I ask is a buddy just got a new bow for me from his shop that I intend to keep around as a back up bow of sorts. The bow is a brand new Darton AS50. I am outfitting it all right now and am about to get the cable guard damper and was thinking about picking up another set of limb savers at the same time...do you think it would be worth it to try more than one set? Also would putting some silencers in the cables help at all? What would the pro and cons be of both things? I am used to shooting my Bowtech and just want to make sure this new one is going be as quiet as possible. Thanks a lot guys.
dthbyhoyt
I have used the Sims Limb savers that comes on the new Hoyt's and the older type as well .
Guest Finn
I'd think if your bow is that loud, bring it back and get a different one. Each item you put on the limbs and string to quiet the bow is going to slow it down just a little.
mule659
It's not that loud I was just curious if it would make it that much of a difference...and I would never take bak a bow that didn't cost me a dime lol ;-) it shoots good with good speed but is just a little louder than I am used to shooting with my Bowtech which will still be my main hunting bow so I was just thining about experimenting with this one a bit. Hoytguy
Makes them heavy too if you get to much on them. Take them all off and hold them in your hand. Then ask yourself...do I need this much more weight ??? I say yes !!! I think I keep Steve Simms in business.
