Polar Opposite Child Stories

My 5 year old boy is fascinated by bugs. My 3 year old is fascinated by killing them. My 5 year old is upset now because his brother ran up and smashed a little beetle that he was watching that had gotten in through the screen. They are fighting and shooting little remarks at each other across the room. I always joke that my 5 year old is going to be an animal rights activist, and his brother is going to be the future of the Ted Nugent movement.

Anyone else have polar opposites?

I think my daughter is a closet tree hugger, but I'm not too sure yet. :D My boys know dead deer mean steak, so they're cool with killing and grilling.

my wife and both my kids don't like hunting. but, they support me and their husbands. they get up with us, pack us lunches, and send us off. and, if we don't stop by and show them our kill, we hear about it. great girls. all the grandkids are up for hunting, so far. the oldest, kaeden (8) has been on 3 tv shows so far....

My daughter is very sensitive does not tease or take teasing very well. She is not very coordinated or athletic and doesn't do any kind of rough housing or fighting. She's 11. Luke will be 3 in June. When he was about 8 months old you could tell he took joy in causing her pain or to make her cry. Before he could even walk he would stand in the living room floor and wait for her to walk by, then grab her by the hair, which is very long, and pull her to the floor and start biting, scratching and pulling hair. The more she screamed the louder he laughed. When we would pull her off of him and she cried he would rub his eyes and cry and then stop and point at her and laugh. This was at 10 months old. Now he can talk and make fun of her. We try not to let him because he seems to feed on it so much. He can hit a ball off a tee further than she can and runs faster too. He will sit and watch the outdoor channel with me for hours and wants to go hunting with me already.
