Turkeygirl
I'm trying to decide whether to go back out right now, over to my boss' place by the state land and setup in his field near where he said he heard birds...or sit at home. The rain is clearing out but it's cloudy and cool...a little breezy with a west wind from 13-17 mph....I think the weather probably kept state land hunters in and I thought after an hour or two if nothing happens on my boss' piece or I got tired of sitting, I'd run and gun a little...see if something will answer. Don't know if it's worth it to go out or not.. What do you think?
Bachflock
GO GO GO GO GO GO GO GO! If nothing else it'll be a chance to learn just a little more about the area you'd be hunting. Regardless of the weather you just never know about the birds unless you're there.
WaCoyote
GO!. I've sat home before and just stewed all day. Maybe you'll get one, maybe not. Sitting on the couch all day will not produce a Tom though. Hurry up it's getting light out.
Turkeygirl
I'm going to grab a bowel of cereal and drive over to my boss' place I guess and set up in that field and see what happens. Late morning so maybe the hens are leaving to nest

Leo
Can't kill one from the couch! Turkeys do not become nocturnal ever! So all daylight hours are fair game.
