WIwhitetailhunter
Spent my Saturday planting 1000 trees...in the rain! Went up to the hunting property and along with my brother, his father-in-law, and my dad and put in 1000 red pines. Surprisingly, we were done in about 4 hours. The trees were put in where others from the past 3 years hadn't made it. I can tell you this, planting by hand is alot harder than using the planter on the tractor. Of course, mother nature was sort of against us as she rained on us the whole time. Good for the new trees. Not good for the fools out working in it. On a side note...about an hour after we finished, the clouds dispersed and the sun came out. Wound up with a decent afternoon for racing around on the ATV's!!:D

JimT
Sounds good. I am ordering my apple trees next month. All three of them for behind the new house. Going to be rough compared to what you did.
