It's almost too late in the year to catch 'em in this part of the country. When the water starts warming up into the mid 70's, the smallies really get the lockjaw. total disaster Posted May 5, 2008 Author Report Share Posted May 5, 2008 man a 6 + pound smallie I would have to sit down for the rest of the day LOL my largest on the scale was 4.1 lbs and 19 inches cought one 21 incher that was like a football one time but no scale so I not sure but id say 4 1/2 atleast but no pic and and no weight just another fish story LMAO our bass season dont open till april 1st and then for frist cupple weeks its tough bite with water of 40-48 then after that it warms up alittle I only had 53 the other day I heard of one lake being 60 but that was short lived with the weather we are having LOL Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
