Turkeygirl Posted May 5, 2008 Report Share Posted May 5, 2008 So I'm giving up my fav tv show tonight,lol, to go roost birds...hopefully. I'm trying to decide whether to just go up back by the old gravel pit and see if I hear something, anything. I know there's more birds there than that one hen...I saw 3 or 4 before the season, I'm just wondering if they are henned up. My other option is drive around the state land..new state land and see if I can get any type of gobble, but I'm thinking after this weekend, they may be pressured anyway. In the morning I think I might go to where I went late morning yesterday on the ridge with all the scratchings and the turkey snuck up on me...unless I hear something tonight...
