bowin_in_illinois Posted May 5, 2008 Report Share Posted May 5, 2008 It has been a different kind of year. She has been throwing great, and is throwing ahead of where she was last year at this time. It is just different because the record she set last year wasn't going to go down easy. ...but she has been steadily getting better, and throwing consistantly above state qualifying and is peaking at just the right time. Last friday at a 18 school girls invitational she took first by breaking her school record (37'-9") by 1'-1" with a throw of 38'-10". Sectionals is Friday with State coming the following weekend...so things are looking great. She is only a Sophomore, so she still has a couple more years to improve on her record.
