The CB I have in my truck is Galaxy 66. Just remember...quality coaxial cable and a noise canceling mike. Oh yea...and make sure your antenna base/bases are grounded good. single antennas work great if all the above is met. My antennas are dual Wilson 2000's. I lost ya didn't I ???

No you didn't. I have a Uniden Pro 510. Not sure about the noise cancelling mike, just know it's 1000 ohm. It's a 40 channel CB with an Automatic Noise Limiter. I have single antenna that came in the deal, it's mounted on the roof of my truck. Might cophase dual 5 foot antennas this summer when I can pay for the antennas and when I get my new toolbox for my truck...

Yup. Cobra 29 LTD Classic with the wattage tweeked to max and an external speaker. Run it through a Wilson 5000 antenna. Works real well. I generally only use it on trips or when I see a traffic situation. It has saved me some long waits due to interstate accidents in the past. Too bad a guy can't have it on all the time. The majority of truckers have gotten so foul-mouthed that you can't have the radio on with kids in the vehicle. :(
