BuckNrut Posted May 5, 2008 Report Share Posted May 5, 2008 Over the weekend I received an invitation to the college's awards ceremony (banquet at some fancy hotel downtown). There was no indication as to why. This morning while working at school I was informed that I had won a $1,000 student employee scholarship! The program I'm entering into next fall requires you to purchase your text books all at once - for the whole 2 years. This is going to help BIG TIME. Also, next week I'll be interviewing for an officer's position in our local Phi Theta Kappa chapter. It's pretty much a "shoe in". It will be a huge responsibility, but I'll get to do some traveling next year. If they only knew what I do for recreation.
