craig mack
I went on stub hub and got 4 tickets, upperdeck, row 2, behind home plate for 13 bucks a piece. I was pretty happy about it until we watched the Tigers lose again!!!!! I'm so tired of watching these guys leave people on base. They have way to many veteran sluggers. They shouldnt be stranding so many runners. I like Jim Leyland and I think he is a very good manager but I think he might be on the hot seat. I dont think that this is his fault, because this team is loaded with proven vets, but something has to change. I definatly think they need a new pitching coach, I wanted a new one last season. It's just frustrating to watch them play so poorly. I hope they snap out of it but its not lookin' good.
MCH
They'll snap out of it. It's a long season and they're hanging close. When its September and they're 5 games back, then worry.:D
Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
Not so much the pitching IMO, after the sweep of the yankees, the bats fell asleep again. Otherthan that 6 run first against the twins sunday, they haven't put up runs to help out the starters.

AdvantageTimberLou
Jim Leyland is well respected, I don't see Jim being forced out!! The boys just need to start getting those base runners in. Easier said than done but they better start doing it soon. Tough schedule coming up too, maybe if they can get to .500 they might be on the upslide! But our payroll is 2nd highest in the league and I think some changes will be made soon if they dont snap out of it. Its the players fault but you know how that goes. I can only imagine how many more cancer sticks Leyland has been smokin' during this stretch!!!
muggs
They don't have the pitching...They could still win the division but the Angels are looking like the team to beat right now.

I like the Angels also. I love the way Scioscia coaches. He is always agressive.

He seems to be able to get a lot of offense out of his teams. Sure, Vlad helps, but really he never really has a whole lot of pop but gets the most out of them. He's all about the table setters and they have pitching coming out of their ears.
Tominator
Tigers didn't do too good with interleague either.
