crazylegz70
I was just wondering if you guys know any simple archery games? I am teaching an archery session at a summer camp in Wisconsin for kids ages 7-16. I am not for sure what "fun" learning games I can play with them. The coordinator just told me to let them learn by having fun. ANY IDEAS????
MCH
Pin a bunch of playing cards on a box target, face up. Play a game of "21". Set the target up at 15-20 yards and let them shoot till they get close or bust.
hutchies
Yep, Kevin hit it on the head. Seen the same thing done playing poker.

crazylegz70
Maybe I could play a game where a certain colored balloon is worth so many points and have them play teams? so maybe blue balloons are smaller, but worth more points??? what do you think? MCH
How about "Balloon tic-tac-toe"?? Put a tic-tac-toe board on a target and tape 9 similar size balloons to it. Shooter doesn't get the square until they pop the balloon.
toddyboman
points for balloons and tic-tac-toe both are great ideas IMO

Illinois59
For beginner kids we use a game called "Hit the Bail". Since they have never used a bow before it makes it more rewarding for all the kids. Just hit the bail at 10 yards and you get a prize.
