Alaskan Parking Lot Puddle...

Recommended Posts

...I never thought a puddle could pose itself so interesting to me....:o:)

-I know I should have maybe posted this in the photography room...-but I was so excited with experimenting with this new digital camera I got last week....I just wanted to share this photo I took 2 hours ago...:D

-This is 4 miles up the road from our place...and is Sheep Mountain....I got stuck near the top for 5 days, one year while sheep hunting....got weathered in, bad-

-But when the lighting is right...even a puddle's reflection can hint at majesty....:)

...Thank you!!...and I sincerely hope that any of you all that want to, will be able to come up and see Alaska sometime...

-I'm not sure if this is a good camera or not...it really seems to be,though..

-You know, my Olympus digital that bit the dust is still on the outs...-but I picked this one up in Anchorage last week...funny thing: it was the cheapest digital Fred Meyer had...for $129.00....I wanted to buy it...but the girl said"Oh, we are out of that one..."...and I looked at her and said,"Any reason why I can't buy this one??"-it was the display model perched on top of the counter...she kind of looked at me funny, and said..."Well...I'm not sure.."- but after a few minutes I convinced her, and ...well...it's mine,now....

-It's a real compact Casio Exilim with 7.2 megapixels

-then she showed me an SD card I could buy for it...but- I've been taking pictures with it...and just realised that I was supposed to FORMAT it...?!?:o:o:rolleyes::D

-Oh,well...

-I'll learn...:)
