Seems like the hens are going to there nest earlier which is making for some lonely gobblers! Just wish the weather would cooperate alittle better! wyohunter Posted May 10, 2008 Report Share Posted May 10, 2008 have till the 22nd of mqay here, the weathers been soooo stormy, the birds arent out much, im hoping next weekend will be nicer..... call me a wuss, but i dont like sitting calling turkeys when its snowing 3 or 4 inches a day... then melts, then snows more ugh..... So far no luck...called in one hen on the third, that's it...been a bad season for me...not much if any gobbling....maybe it'll pick up a little.. codman Posted May 12, 2008 Report Share Posted May 12, 2008 We have till may 31st here in CT i went out saturday . It was very windy i couldnt hear and didnt hear a thing. My girl and I did some arrands came back around 3:30 and they were out in the field . My season goes from sunrise to noon. My only days to go are saturdays dang work!
