Jeramie
From southern Kansas to South Central Oklahoma and NW Arkansas. Right now there are literally about 6 on the ground. Hopefully this is the only round tonight. This has been a really bad year and so far the end of twister season isn't in sight. Stay safe everyone....... MCH
One on the ground about 15 miles from here. Headed away from us, though. Weather channel is reporting baseball sized hail. Wow!
Ambuscher
Had one about 10 miles out headed this way a few minutes ago. I don't think it ever touched down though. Grabbed a cold one and went out in the back yard where I could see better, and saw a bunch of rotation but nothing ever formed. Dangit. LOL
stevebeilgard
well, the weather is unusual for sure. we just had the coldest spring in over a hundred year history. tornados where they are not normally found. and earlier than normal. sure hope everyone stays warm and out of danger. WGumz
Whatever happened to the days of just rain and a few thunderstorms. For the past couple years, whenever there is rain, there is always bad storms. Hopefully everyone stays safe.
Jeramie
Sadly this one has proven fatal. The town of Pitcher has roughly 300 and 6 have been confirmed dead in Pitcher alone. Damage reports are grim. Its all over the news right now but no one has an estimate on fatalities, damage, etc.
Jeramie
Neosho Missouri was hit hard too. 5 currently reported dead in Missouri and both Missouri and Oklahoma are expected to have higher death tolls.
wtnhunt
Glad to hear you are safe Jeramie. Was not on here much over the weekend and also missed seeing or hearing the news, so had not heard about the fatalities. Got pretty bad south of here Friday night. Hate hearing about the devastation and loss of life from these storms. More prayers on the way.
