Turkeygirl
Went back out to the state land tonight, tried a different spot...hiked way down in a logging road...the boot tracks stopped up on top of the hill...I kept going, lol. This gated road leads into the back of camp. hit a flat spot, walked over to the edge and immediately found scratchings all over...guess it's a good sign. Think I'm going to hunt up here behind home in the morning because #1 I can get up a half hour later and I'm just worn out from 5:30 school mornings. #2 last time I hunted here was last weekend...so who knows, maybe I'll hear something. I keep thinking to about that jake I saw then another time a bird went running off when I spooked it and I'm sure I saw a beard hanging off..So I'll give it a try. #3 I have a take home exam to finish tomorrow...and some studying and it's Mother's Day. I'll let ya'll know what happens...I hope something.
