aksheephuntress Posted May 12, 2008 Report Share Posted May 12, 2008 ....Thank you for all the Mother's Day wishes for us ladies... ......as for my family...my kids surprised me with flowers, and we all went shooting today...the kids with their 10/22...and me, putting some more rounds through my .30-06 sheep rifle... ......the expensive rounds of ammo I picked up in Anchorage the other day patterned awful....maybe I'll luck out and have a gun that likes the cheaper ammo...(more about that, later, I'll post in the rifle room....) ....and it was nice that the snow has receeded so much more out at the shooting bench...and the kids were excited to spot several mtn goat up above,on Iron Mtn... -a really nice day... -I fixed a big dinner last night; -actually a pork roast....oh, I love a big fat pork roast once in a while!! ...boy...those deviled eggs I read about that Andrea had sure sounded good, though!!...Yum! ...You know...really...EVERY day is kind of like Mother's Day...but it's good to have one day to specially honor, and think about, what a Mother really is...and what it means to be one...
