Hey everyone, here's a video of my turkey hunt last week. My brother got lucky filming this hunt just before we ran out of tape. Let me know what you think. Click on the link below to watch.

Hey thanks, bowhunter56. Yes, the shot was approx. 44 yards (44 paces actually). The gun has made that shot before and I do have confidence in that even though I know it's not necessarily advised for a shot of that range on a turkey. Got nervous when he started re-entering the thickets - he didn't like not finding a hen in the open like there was supposed to be.

Hey, thanks for responding, yes, it looks pretty bad on film, but I saw the bird moving through the thickets for quite some time and when he went behind a good cluster I quickly move the gun up. I had both a mouth call and slate going before he moved into sight. Should have had the gun on my knee and in position prior to him coming over the burm, but everything happened quickly and I got caught out of position. I've been there before however and realized that I had to wait until he moved behind something before I made my move. If you notice at the end, right before I shot, I think he sees some slight movement on my part, he sort of ducks before he gets hit. Heart pumping too fast and no cover to protect me. We were prospecting and the whole affair took approx. 7-8 minutes.

Thanks for responding but I intentionally didn't put a decoy out. Didn't want him hanging up like I've had so many other times. If, I was deeper in woods and cover definitely. Or, in the morning set up on the edge of a field.
