buckee
Do you support a ban ....... NO Besides attracting, and holding deer on your property. Food plots are good stewardship towards conserving wildlife and maintaining the health of the wildlife.
Doc
Re: Yes or No? Yes When it comes to individual hunters revising the environment to aid their hunting, this is where I draw the line and say enough is enough. Doc

Chrud
Re: Yes or No? No. Food plots are a great way to get deer the nutrition they need. Plus, if you take a young hunter out hunting, food plots are a great spot to sit and see deer.

iron buck
Re: Yes or No? NO While I am not a fan of baiting I CANT STAND voting on what can/ can not be hunted or how we can hunt during general elections. Hunters make up a small percentage of the population. The last thing I want is to have a card carrying PETA socccer mom deciding what or how I can hunt. Just my 2Cents. Take a look at the Mountain Lion situation in Crazyfornina. Enough said. Rhino
Re: Yes or No? NO Baiting is not legal here and I'm not in favor of making baiting legal either. I'm not in favor of making food plots illegal at all. Food plots are legal here and benefit more critters than just deer too. They are available when they need it 24 hours a day and are still available to them long after the deer season is over. If you plant summer food plots like we do down here, it benefits them during the antler growing and fawning periods too when there isn't any open hunting season.
