HOYTnMUZZYboy
Buying a bow is like buying a car or truck, get what you want and what feels right for you. I shoot a Hoyt trykon. I love it but thats what feels right for me. Go to your local pro shop or sporting goods store and shoot a bunch of different ones. You gotta find whats right for you. GobblerBuster618
yes just like a car you gotta do a little test driving. if you have a good pro shop/ archery range around you they should being to help you out. you dont have to start out brand new either. I started out with an old bear compound and after 10 years or so of bowhunting im shooting only traditional equipment. Best of luck to you. Leo
Thank-you for all the responces, =[ I'm not sure when I'll be able to get over to America for hutning but I can't wait ! Is there no bowhunting where you live? That will make it harder to select a hunting bow because "try before you buy" is the best advice I can give you. Purchasing one and having it shipped to you is a risky proposition. What works great for me may not for you.
Squirrelhunter91
Definitely shooting a couple of different brands of bows that are in your price range is the best thing to do. I personally shoot a Mathews DXT. I felt that was the best bow for me. It fit me best.
