HUNTINGMAN Posted May 19, 2008 Report Share Posted May 19, 2008 I didnt get drawn again this year either.Think I will start looking for a place to hunt on the outside edge of the restoration zone.It is getting rediculas not getting drawn after putting in for the hunt every year since they have been holding these hunts,they need to keep all tags for resident hunters. elnor Posted May 21, 2008 Report Share Posted May 21, 2008 I was drawn for my first ever elk hunt, anywhere, for a KY cow tag. I'm ecstatic! Now the work of research, summer camping and scouting trips, etc. begins. I make fairly frequent work trips to Nashville, so I'm going to tack some time in the KY elk hunt units on around those trips this summer and fall. Any suggestions as to which of the six EHUs I should consider for my first, second, and third choices in the EHU drawing? If anyone here has hunted elk in easten Kentucky and is willing to share info, I'd greatly appreciate it (post or PM, whatever works for you).
