*Camo_Girl*
Hey y'all. I just wanted your opinion on this gun I saw. It's a .22 Remington and around the $200 price range. I was thinking about buying it if the place still has it. Thoughts? It's used and I would probably use it for rabbit and squirrel hunting. -CG:cool:
Strut10
It would depend on the model of the rifle. If it was a Model 541-T for $200, let's say...............then you've gotten a steal. If it's a Model 597 for instance.......$200 is too much.

wtnhunt
Think whether or not it is a good buy would depend on the variation of model 597 that it is and on the condition of the gun. If it is a basic syn 597 with blued barrel and in fair condition that may be a little too much, the msrp new on those guns is around $190. If it is a nicer stock and a stainless barrel or heavy barrel, it might be a good deal.

Shaun_300
That's a pretty good deal if you ask me! I paid $329 for my 597 brand new, guns and most other stuff is more expensive in Canada compared the the States though. Here's mine, I've got a Bushnell 3-9x32 scope on it, sure is an accurate gun!
