Gator
Well I made it home yesterday from Kaw, and what a trip!!!! Started out bad for me, I ended up in the ER 4am Wed morning witha MASSIVE ear ache, seems like my sinus's had backed up and were putting pressure on my ear drum. Got a shot in the buttocks, hydrocodone, sinus spray, amoxicillin, and Musinex, still not feeling ALL that great, still congested up some. But man did we catch some fish!!!! A 52, 48, 40, 28, 25lb flathead, several more in the 5-15lb range that we turned loose. Caught some good blues as well, with the heavy one being 28lbs. Sat night was a bad night, with us having to be towed to the marina for injecter oil!!!!! Here are some pics. This is the dam at Kaw Lake, they were leeting water out at a rate of 10900 gallons PER SECOND!!!!!

Gator
Oh yeah, I left out the part where I lost a GOOD fish of around 40lbs or so, but the worst part was the fact that Shannon had a 16/0 Diachii circle hook STRAIGHTENED
Guest outdoorgirl
Jason how old do you think them big catfish are ??
Gator
Karen, it is hard to say. I don't know the growth rate on a flathead, but I bet in the neighborhood of 15-20yrs old I am wrong, I am betting about 5-10yrs old probably
