Problems with a brand new ATV!! HELP!!

Well, it's that time of year again. After starting my 2006 Arctic Cat 400 Automatic and moving it, I let it sit for about a day or two. After a full tank of fresh gas and Stabil, I can not get it to start. The battery is 100%. It cranks and cranks and cranks, but will not turn over! I figured it could be the ignition, but pull start acts the same. So, I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the fuel system, but WHAT?! I don't even know where to start? Could there be a clog in the fuel line? Bad fuel pump? I have NEVER had a single problem with it until now. Only has about 160 miles on it. Any easy solutions?

Anyone experience any similar problems or know what the deal is?? THANKS SOOO MUCH!!

Don't take offense to this...

This happened to me with my Honda Foreman. Did you make sure the fuel selector is in the "on" position. You don't really think about it, at least I didn't. I just got used to pushing the ignition and the thing firing right up. I had the same scenario happen to me one morning. I had just moved the darn thing a few days ago and it started fine. Came back one morning and it wouldn't fire. After about 30 minutes I finally realized that somehow the fuel selector wasn't completely in the "on" position. I know it sounds ignorant but it happened.

Several things you could check. If it sounds like it is not firing, first thing I would probably check would be the most simple. Make sure it is getting fuel and fire. As mentioned above check the valve if there is one, check the filter, check your plug and make sure you are getting fire, and check to be sure that it is getting fuel pressure coming into the carb.

...Yeah, I was wondering the same thing...-possibly the "on"position for the fuel selector...-happened to me before...and also the spark plug...I routinley replace the spark plug each year, when things warm up...

Also...I've encountered water in the fuel line, when ice forms on the inside of them through the winter, then melts...-maybe just a matter of draining that, plus tending the fuel filter and air filter (is it air-cooled?)...and making sure there is no h2o in those areas...(like Wtnhunt said).

Yep, good advice mentioned above. First thing to check is the fuel ON/OFF switch. I don't know how many time's i've jumped on my sled the first snow fall and gone 100 feet and it dies because of that. :o:D Then check for spark by pulling the plug out and grounding it on the cylinder head or some other good ground to make sure it's firing while you're cranking. Is it EFI or carburated? I think the cat's are carb. Check the fuel filter to make sure it's not clogged.

Last year I got a tune up for my honda and drove it for about a month. Put it up for the winter. I got it out last week and it fired up for about 10 seconds and it quit. After that it would not turn over. I had fuel on the plug so I thought I might try changing the plug and whala.. it took off like a champ. Try changing the plug and see what happens.
