sskybnd
didnt know how i was going to get to plow the food plot becouse of the limited space in getting back there, so i went to bass pro shop and bought this plow called the ground hog by tufline, it fits on the back of the four wheeler we tested it in the ally behind the house, worked great, tried to talk the girlfriend into letting me put a garden in the back yard [no go] so i'l just have to wait to get to the lease to realy give it a work out. wtnhunt
Pretty sure I saw an advertisement for this plow on a hunting show once. Do not know how well it would work, but hope it works well for you.
sskybnd
well i got to use the plow today, must say i was impressed,it worked great, couple flaws though it works great on level ground but will skip some places when its unlevel, and if your 4 wheeler sits kinda low its hard to adjust the disc, we had to back up on my saltblock just to get it to go lower/deeper, all in all it did the job and i was happy with the out come, dirts fluffy, boots sink in around 2 to 3 inches, with i had a culdapacker but im sure it will settle. Those little plows have some definite places where they can be used if you are tight on food plot acreage. Before one of our other properties was sold, I had planned on buying one and plowing strips in some old non-planted cutover that was just greenbriar and sagebrush with leaned over trees here and there. We were strapped for food plot acreage on that particular lease and I was ready to plant that area with a Groundhog and an ATV spreader for seed and pelletized lime - but the property got sold and I never bought one.
