New sports car for my wife

To help aid in my wifes healing I had discussed with her the idea of her getting a good used sports car. She had her heart set on a red convertible Mustang, and we had also found a Porsche Boxster. Believe it or not, the Porsche being a 2002, and the Stang being a 2006, they were within a few grand in price. I left it up to her as to which one she wanted and she chose the Stang! I am actually glad as due to insurance purposes, not too mention the cost of repairs to the Boxster, and the fact that the nearest Porsche dealership is over 125 miles away...it was a good decision. We bought the Mustang, and it is due here the end of next week (give or take a couple of days due to the holiday weekend). She is very excited, and although still quite sick...she has definitely perked up a bit! I'll post some photos once she arrives! Now, need help picking a personalized plate.... any ideas? :D

Hey, that's very nice! Now if she gets on your case about buying huntin' stuff, simply jingle the keys and walk away. :D

My wife and I were tossing around buying her a Mercedes SUV...til I noticed the "maintenance schedule" and the cost to do so. So after much debate, we settled on a fully loaded Chrysler Aspen (with the HEMI for me). Now she works midshift, and I am stuck carting the kids around in the new car (darn) and she drives my Wrangler back and forth to work. :D

Hope she feels better soon..

She is feeling a bit better, but not where we had hoped for. She has a doctors appointment today and going to tell him she wants to be checked for diabetes, as her mother and grandmother are both diabetics, and he father is now also. She is taking a medicine called Flagyl, and it is giving her uncontrolable shakes in her legs, numbness and tingling in her hands and feet, and bad stomach cramps...it is worse always about an hour after taking it. Man I can't wait for this to be better...
