Ethan Givan
Anyone tried these broadheads? I think they are made by New Archery Products. Im looking at trying these this year, just wondering if anyone had experience with these heads.
Guest bowhunter56
used them for years, very good, and sharp broadhead..
Guest DEERSLAYER88
i recommend the **** razors by new archery products they are light and razor sharp and shoot great
arrow32
I used the xp's there last year. They do a heck of a job and shoot pretty good. Myself wouldn't use the **** razors if I'm thinking right you can't replace the blades you either have to buy all new BH's or sharpen them. Guest batman
I like the smoke broadheads, they are new this year
The Kid
used them before couldn't get them to fly good
Tominator
used them for years, very good, and sharp broadhead.. Ditto. Probably the sharpest head I've ever used. I switched to Muzzy's a few years ago because they are more durable. Seems to me the thunderhead was good for one shot, then you had to replace blades or pitch the whole head when the ferrules bent. Jeramie
used them for years, very good, and sharp broadhead.. Same here. I actually switched to Muzzy and like the locking blades a LOT better. However, I do like the thunderheads and they would be my number 2 choice. They are very sharp, pretty durable, and accurate. In my opinion if you dont go with Muzzy you cant go wrong with thunderheads.
Gator
I tried them when I first started bowhunting, and didn't know anything about tuning a bow, and they didn't fly good at all. Bought some 4 blade muzzy's, and they were dead on with my FP, so guess what I hunted with?? And now I will no longer use NAP products, I called them for some help, and got talked to like I was dirt......
Leo
Thunderheads are decent heads. The 125s are much much tougher than the 100s. They also tend to be very consistent. You may have to adjust your sites to shoot them but where one goes the next will. If you are shooting 100s there are tougher heads available today. In all, they are a solid choice. sskybnd
i shot the 125 thunder heads for year, i think i went to the muzzys about 3 years ago, i love both the heads and wish the thunder heads came with the muzzy tip,
Dubie
I have used the thunderhead 125s for years. Swithing to some muzzy 3 blades, mostly due to lighening up of my arrows, and partly because I wanted to try the muzzy. The thunderheads are a good broadhead, and pretty tough. Bob LeBlanc
http://www.realtree.com/photopost/showphoto.php/photo/10711/ppuser/254 He was shot with a Thunderhead 125. Broke a rib on the way in...another on the way out...clean pass through...and stuck in a stump on the opposite side. Spin tested the arrow and the broadhead is still straight. Although I did change the blades. Yup...they work well for me. Bob
Shawn
i love them, shoot great keep sharp and for a fixed blade they create a heck of a hole. Heres a pic of the entrance on a 4 point i shot this year with a thunderhead 100 grain.
michiganbowbender
I've taken 70+ deer with 100/125 grain Thunderheads. Fine head. If you do your job, they will do theirs. Last year I shot SlickTricks for the first time. 4 cutting surfaces, impossible for a blade to pop out, stronger ferrule/tip, and fly just like my field points. 3 deer went less than 80 yards between them. Then I sold all my Thunderheads.
Turkeygirl
I've taken all my archery deer with Thunderheads....good, reliable...and they kill deer! They'll get dull quick if they go into dirt, but they've stayed prettyu sharp through a deer if they don't hit bone and then go into the dirt. It's the only broadhead I've shot. Hoyt03
thunderheads are decent broadheads and will get the job done. Thing is I could never get them to shoot consistent out of my bow. I'm going to go with slick tricks or strikers this year. There are a ton of good heads out these days, some you will pay alot more for then others.
