I went to shoot a video segment with Len "spinner" Harris today in Richland county. Len is a professional trout fishing guide for both fly and spinning tackle in the "Driftless area" of south western Wi.

We started out the day on a beautiful stream just outside of Richland Center with plenty of spillways and deep holes to hold both big Browns and Rainbows.......wasn't long before len had hooked into a great "Bow" pushing 20 + inches...................And then a 16+ Brown with alot of 12-14 inchers thrown in for good measure, the sky was overcast and the water near perfect, the bite was on and Len brought 20 + fish to hand with at least 30 follows/hits, all of this on a Panther Martin spinner (and not a small one either), Len like alot of seasoned anglers believes that big lures catch big fish, and he proved that theory today over and over again........but enough talking lets see the pics.

Len believes in the 5 second rule for getting the fish unhooked and back in the water, all the fish he caught today were on a catch and release only water and all were returned to be caught again, his 5 second rule keeps the fish from being over stressed so they are very capable of surviving for another day..........A more easy going yet professional guide I doubt you'll ever find, and his experience and knowledge make for a most enjoyable time on the trout water, if you would like to experience a trip such as this first hand check out Len on his website @ http://lenharris.tripod.com/index.html or give him a call @ 608 647-5356

I was editing the footage the other day and I believe I will have about 1 hour of total edited footage some of which will go up on my website, but I am also thinking of putting together a DVD if anyone is interested. I shot this alittle different than your average fishing show, so I hope it will appeal to a wider audience.:)
