aksheephuntress
....Shivering and in pain does NOT mean he is stabalized.... -it tells me , that his body is hurting...and unbalanced...BUT...STILL FIGHTING... -I'll wager this boy...this guy- has a definite chance to walk again... -Prayers from Alaska , for Alex to WALK...... Lord jesus, please help Alex heal from his four-wheeler injuries...In Your name..... Amen-
Squirrelhunter91
I got to see Alex yesterday. He's doing alot better than he was last time. He's eating regular food again and he said he's been feeling pins and needles in his legs every so often. He said it can be painful at times, but sometimes it tingles. Even though it sometimes is painful, it's a good sign. That means he is getting feeling back in his legs, slowly but surely. He's still Alex. That's the most important thing. He's still 100% there mentally, just he can't walk. They got him in a wheelchair yesterday for the first time too so he's progressing. He'll be at one of the best rehab hospitals around, Helen Hayes, on either Monday or Tuesday. Just so happens that Helen Hayes is right here in our hometown. I'll be there everyday once he gets there. Thank you so much for the prayers everyone.

Squirrelhunter91
Yet another update... They tranferred Alex to Helen Hayes yesterday afternoon!!!! He's right around the corner from my house, which means I can literally go see him anytime! He has a few hours of physical therapy today, but afterwards, we're gonna go see him. Squirrelhunter91
Just to dig up an old post here and give an update.. Alex gets out of the hospital tomorrow morning and leaves to go live with his family in the Bronx. He's not walking, but he gained his weight back and is doing excellent. We will still be able to see him, just not as often because of everyones schedules and whatnot. The commute to the Bronx isn't that far at all for us, only about 25-30min. He'll be down by Yankee Stadium so that means we'll be seeing more than a few Yankee games this summer. Thank you for all your prayers and words of encouragement. PotashRLS
Good luck and God's Blessings to him and his family. Not to preach, but no helmet and driving on a roadway????
