Tominator
I might give that a try, would mind get a couple of more mpg out of the D-max. :D:D Reminds me of that line in Forrest Gump: "but you ain't got no legs Lieutenant Dan..." "But the Duramax ain't got no plugs Chuck..."
wtnhunt
Reminds me of that line in Forrest Gump: "but you ain't got no legs Lieutenant Dan..." "But the Duramax ain't got no plugs Chuck..." Bosch makes replacement glow plugs for diesel engines if I am not mistaken Chris. Don't know if they have them for the duramax though. HUNTINGMAN
I like the idea of the horse and buggy, you could ride it awhile and if groceries keep going up you could then eat it.{ha-ha}.
Strut10
Bring back the Geo Metro I say. 55+ per gallon. Not that I'd be seen getting out of a Metro......no matter what the price of fuel.............hows come when a car company has a good thing going they discontinue it?? The 4.0L Jeep I-6.......... power out the butt and low to mid 20's mpg hwy The 3.1L GM V-6............power out the butt and upper 30's mpg hwy The 2.3L GM Quad4 H/O.......insane power and low 40's mpg hwy All have been replaced due to "progress". craig mack
I park my Ram 2500 and drive my 98 Escort to work. Escort has 140,000 miles on it and is still running strong. I fill it up for 30$ a week. As long as I keep changing the oil, I should be able to get well over 200,000 miles on it. I would never get rid of my truck, I need it for hunting and ice fishing. Prioritys!!!
Illinois59
Do the math. Depending on what your negative equity is and then the price of the new car it may be cheaper to stick with what you have. Good luck.
Guest Andrea
Toyotas are great cars. That's where I will start looking when that time comes. Wish I still had my Tercel.
