soonerman22
I have my heart set on a new mathews...but I can not decided which one to go with. I have heard many good things about the Switchback XT over the past couple of years and I know that the DXT is new but was wondering how it was comparing with the Switchback?????? huntinguide
I still shoot the switchback, but have shot the xt, dxt. A switchback is a switchback i kindof new what to expect, they all shoot great but each bow has its little differences weight, look, feel, ect. Just shoot them and see what you like. craig mack
I shoot a Switchback XT and love it!!!! I'm afraid to shoot a DXT, because I cant afford a new bow.
HUNTINGMAN
I have shot a XT since they came out and love it,shot the dxt and dont plan on getting rid of my Switchback XT anytime soon.Although as far as I am concerned you cant go wrong with anything that is made by mathews. Squirrelhunter91
Well.. I personally liked the DXT better, which I why I bought mine. If price is an issue to you, the Switchback XT is about $150 cheaper on average than the DXT. I paid $799 for my DXT.
AdvantageTimberLou
Depends on your draw length, if you have a longer draw length 30" or more, the DXT is not for you. Even at 29" you have severe string angle. Shoot one and you will see. Get a Drenalin LD or a Switchback XT. Both great bows. My buddy is getting a new 08 Drenalin LD for $600.00 new!! Pays to have connections!
Gator
I have both a Switchback and a DXT, and for some reason I shoot my DXT ALOT better than what I shoot my SB, and I can't explain it. I have shot my SB more this year at first than I did my DXT, but can pick my DXT up and group like crazy
oldreloader
I like both the DXT and the Drenlin but the S2 flt best to me.
Guest tdm69
I got rid of my Switchback after shooting my friends DXT. Didn't think you could get any smoother or quieter, but I was wrong. String angle isn't an issue if you shoot a loop. If you shoot a peep it could be a problem, but Predator Products make a peep with a different angle for the new shorter bows. www.predatoriv.com
