hoytman26
Talked to my buddy the other day and talked to my dad and we decided to hang our stands in about 4 weeks. I'm pumped up to get out and get the season started. Hang stands in June. Hang cameras in late July. Then wait 8 weeks for opening day. We usually dont plant food plots because the farmer has beans, corn, and alfalfa planted every year.
Straight Shooter
I'm surprised there aren't tickers going right now, its usually about the time a few member get them going. LOL I guess I'll be heading outinto the woods in a few weeks to do some stand location recon.

Heck I'm putting out another trail cam tonight after school.

Guest dlb
The weather has been very hot here in Western PA for early June. I hung a stand near a great watering hole. I need to get a camera up there, too. I'd love to see what's been tramping that area flat!

backwoods07
A couple days til we head to the farm and continue some more dirty work. So far we planted about an acre of clover and cut and cleared .5 acre for throw n grow. There are about 90 acres of alfalfa and soybeans, so they should be well fed. Now we have about 3 two man stands to hang, relocate an 18 foot ladder and a 12 foot ladder, and put a tripod up. Shouldn't be too bad considering its 90 degrees with 100% humidity... Hey, no one ever said hunting was easy.
hoytman26
I am ordering two new ladder sticks tomorrow. Hangin stands in 3 weeks, and setting up 3 cameras. Going out tuesday with highs in the low 70's to do some scouting from a distance.
Buckslayer
Hey guys, the lessees have just finished planting their part of our farm in soybean - I didn't mention it will be destroyed by the deer to them! I've just had the cam out 2 weeks now, can't wait to check tomorrow night or Saturday. We've seen some racked bucks already so hopefully I'll have some nice pics soon. Stands will be hung here in late July.
indianaboy
Been messing with stands and cams for a while now. Its a sick addiction that I love!!!:D
dbHunterNY
Aside from stands that are permanent and there every year, I haven't hung any yet. I only have a couple though. I usually wait until around August, so I guess I'm behind. lol Having only a couple stands I have to choose wisely. It's worked out that I have to wait to pattern deer first and then hang stands, having so few. - Dan
Guest deer_slayer67
Maybe i'm retarded but i hung a stand on January 16th, 1 day after the close of the season here, for this season.... it was a good spot that i couldn't get a stand in during the season so i put it up then! Cameras have been out since april when i got the food plot in, just to see the activity i was getting, first food plot.... Good luck gettin some good pics! Born4it
All stands are up but one, and we'll maybe move one...other than that, we're all ready to go! I went to my first 3D shoot the other day, and I'm getting the bug and wanting to head out to the woods! It's always exciting knowing that your plan is set and you're ready! Good luck, Ryan
