My sister started watching it, I've seen it once and honestly.. it makes me sick. They're too perfect for me. Everything they do is perfect and they're kids are perfect little angels. I can't stand it. Sorry :(, JMO. I think they put on one heck of an act for the camera and things are a lot different when the camera lights go off and that family lives for real.:o:o

My wife was flipping back and forth while I was trying to watch deadliest catch a couple nights ago,I have twins and they are enough.I dont think it is something thatI will be watching much of,I do know that if I had that many kids I would have to hire a good looking nanny to help out.

They are not vegetarians. They eat organic. Even had a whole show about a trip to a farm in PA where they ended up buying an entire cow (in little boxes). The last show I watched, Jon said he was cutting down on the red meat and eating more fish and chicken because he was eating too much and gaining weight.

Not trying to be a jerk, just a little correction. Me personally, I could care less if someone doesn't want to eat meat. Just as long as they don't criticize me for doing so.

I enjoy watching it along with little people big world.....I could never survive with that many kids...and Maddy is a total brat...she needs some good spankings.

I like Little People Big World too. I also agree that my patience level would not handle that many either. It just reminds me how much of a wimp I am being sometimes with my two. I don't think the family is perfect by any means. Kate is actually the perfect type to be able to handle that many kids. Very organized, obsessive compulsive, etc. She can be a ***** sometimes, but really who isn't at times. Yes, Maddy needs a butt whoopin. She reminds me of my 3 year old.

;) Nativetexan I'm not trying to start a war here either and I have try'd that soyburger crap that my non-meateating Aunt wanted me to eat but I just didn't like it. Just as you stated as long as they don't criticize me either more power to them. ;)

....I have seen that show 4 times...but

I prefer watching the guys in the white trench coats on "Guns and Ammo TV " blow up perfectly good fruit.....:D:)

-Yes, I agree that Kate is a very "organized , sometimes obsessive -compulsive " woman...and VERY effective with coordinating her kids...-But...COME ON, HERE...I'd LOVE to see here just cut loose and SMILE for once...and sit down in the dirt and PLAY and laugh with her kids...(and her husband!)-

-Yet...Maybe she could actually teach me a thing or two...:);)

Any of you get stuck watching this show on TLC? Wife got me watching it and I have to admit I am kinda hooked. Whenever I think my kids are stressing me out, I watch and realize that I have it pretty easy.

I heard that! If I had that many kids I would have been standing on the edge of a bridge years ago.... :D

My wife loves the show, and I watch it with her from time to time. It's funny because we see a lot of ourselves in John and Kate. My wife is the lets get it done, hurry up, wanting to have everything organized type; and I am the laid back, it's not that big of a deal, it will get done eventually type. My favorite dialogue between the two of them when they were getting ready to go to Disney World and John had to go pick up a UHaul so they could pack it up.

Kate: Can you hurry?

John: No

That was hysterical. She kinda deserved it though. You have to give them credit. Most people wouldn't take their kids to disney until they were 12.

I'm not taking my 3 year old to Disney until he learns to stay by my side uncommanded.
