punkinslinger
Thursday the NHL and the Canucks lost an up and coming star to a motorcycle accident. RIP Luc.
Bob LeBlanc
Tragic...absolutely tragic. Luc was past captain of the Team Canada Juniors...and was destined to be a premier defenseman in the NHL, without a question. It is so sad to see a young life cut so short... BowtechTurkeyHunter
Very tragic. These big time athletes need to get off the freaking motorcycles already. Why do they have to get off the bikes ... I guarantee you wouldnt say this if they had a hunting accident .... or if they got shot by someone else ... would you demand that they get rid of guns or no associate with them ... you guys are running a double standard saying to get off the bikes ... lotsa of tragic things happen ... if he woulda done this in his Benz would you being calling for him to quit driving ... stevebeilgard
i agree with bowtech. he could have been hit by lightening out on the golf course. i dislike motorbikes as much as the next person, but that is just me. it's a fun activity for those that like to ride, they are all fully aware of what can happen, and they choose to do it anyway. in fact, their incomes give them the benefit of having a nice house, nice cars, all the toys they want, and more. they need to enjoy what they have. if they get killed doing whatever, so be it. and yes, they are probably more exposed to some of the bad stuff because they have more money to do more of the bad stuff. i'm envious of them... Steve Name me one of these big name athletes who was been killed or almost killed in a car accident. Probably can't name too many. I can only think of one. I can make you a long list of guys that died or dang near died on a motorcycle though. Gee, why is that?

I can only think of one. I can make you a long list of guys that died or dang near died on a motorcycle though. Gee, why is that? Its still not the motor cycles fault .... if you are trying to defend you dont have a double standard here I can point this right around on guns ... its not the guns fault ... what a narrow minded view ... wasnt too long ago in florida that an athlete got killed or killed someone drunk driving ... so was it the cars fault the alchohol maufactures fault or the person who was driving the car ... there are tons of examples of athletes in cars and wrecks ... lets just make it so anyone making 500k or more and is famous can 't drive that would make everything happy right and nobody would ever get hurt and this world would be perfect .... NOT Steve Its still a horrible accident ... btw do we know that it wasnt the semi drivers fault yet?
Bob LeBlanc
It is suspected that he got caught by a gust of wind and was too inexperienced to handle it. The semi driver is not at fault. Bob
