Electric Vehicles

If you have a relatively short drive to work or wherever that won't take you on the highway, then check these out. Certainly not pretty by a long shot, but they are affordable (around $14k). They run about 40 mph, and their range is around 50 miles. Tax incentives possible also in your state for the purchase of one.

Or if you want to go big, check out one of these. They are super expensive (expected to be around the same price as a high end luxury SUV), but they have a 100 mile range, can go 95 mph, charge in 10 minutes, and the battery will last up to 250k miles.

Kind of interesting. The zap cars would be dangerous around here though. Wonder too how fast the charges on the e cars runs down when you have to run headlights or wipers and other electrical necessities. Betting the ranges they give are under ideal conditions.

Most likely. Much like a gas vehicle. I wonder why it is so difficult to just be honest with people. Test the darn thing with all of the accessories running, up hill, 50 mph wind resistance, and a couple of 250 lb passengers with all of their gear and then give me a good mileage estimate. Anything above that number would be a plus.
