Turkeygirl
bought shoes or boots online without a problem? I found the hiking boots I want for camp this summer, on sale on-line. Only way to get them really is online. All the size conversion charts are the same, and from trying on women's footwear before, the sizes tend to run on the small size, at least I think so. I have some hikin shoes in a women's 8 and with thick socks on, they still fit and will probably stretch out a little, but I almost could go bigger...I think my feet grew. Anyway my feet without socks are 9 3/4", inbetween an 8 and 8.5, but with my thickest pair of hiking socks on, they are about 10", equivalent to a 9 on the sizing charts. A 9 sounds so big to me,lol, but then most of my other shoes and boots and guy sizes and when I do try on women's, I always go up in size because they run small. So I don't know if I got with a size 9 to accomodate thick socks or sweaty feet that swell anyway, or go with an 8.5 because the boots may stretch a little??? Any thoughts? These are the boots I want by the way... http://www.rei.com/outlet/product/773593

stevebeilgard
american made boots are usually true to size. but, most stuff today is made in china, and they come in whatever size you get. so, if your boots are made by a well known american firm, i's say you could go with the size 9. otherwise, i'd try them on. HuntnMa
i've ordered Justin, Wolervine and Georgia boots online for th last 5-7 years and i have never had a problem.
RangerClay
I bought some hunting boots from Cabelas about 10 years ago and I'm still wearing them today. On the other hand I once ordered some waders for my wife and it took two exchanges to get the right size. I try not to order boots online. It's a crap shoot as to whether they will fit right or not. wtnhunt
Have bought boots for myself both hunting boots and hikers and really have had no problems. Have also bought a few pairs for the wife and my oldest daughter and they have fit them fine too.
Jeramie
I could never buy clothing items on line. I have to try on a dozen different things to find something that fits sometimes. Shoes Definately fit there too. The only shoes I would have considered buying online, Nike. However, the last pair I bought I had to move from a 10 to a 10 1/
Texan_Til_I_Die
I've purchased my last 2 pairs of snake boots online and both fit perfectly. Of course I know what size I wear.
