seat covers

Anyone here used cover king or covercraft oe style leather seat covers. My 3/4 ton truck has a good rip in the leather on the driver side seat, and it is getting worse and worse. Really thinking about duct taping the rip together and covering with a quality leather seat cover before the foam starts wearing out. Seems the covers would work fine so long as no jagged leather sticking up, have no clue how much the factory replacements from gm would run, but would imagine they are more than i am willing to spend.

Had not thought about the junk yards Steve, typically the one around here that usually has anything worth a flip charges pretty ridiculous prices and for not much more you can get stuff from the dealer new.

Was looking at probably ordering the coverking covers from cabelas later on today. Have a $25 rebate deal that expires today, plus a few points too. Maybe a kind of happy fathers day to me from me gift, lol.:p:D

I know the GM factory seat covers are pretty expensive, I can check tomorrow for you William to give you a ballpark figure what they're worth. I'll warn you ahead of time that they are a real pain to install too. The bottoms are held to the seat frame by hog rings, they can be real ignorant to change. They're up there on my list of things at my job that get my blood pressure up. :o:D
