Over the weekend, I stopped in Gander Mountain. The one near me had the new Monster Bucks, Primos Truth series, Drury Outdoor, and Wolf Creek videos.

I bought all of them...8 videos in all.:) To date, I have almost ever single dvd that has been released by Realtree, Primos, and Drury.

Looking forward to the new Prime Time buck and Knight & Hale.

I buy every new dvd that comes out every year to learn what the pros are doing and to get pumped for the season.:D

I have found that watching the videos has helped me with buck fever. It allows me to see different shooting angles. It gets me excited for the new season.

Not sure if anyone else does this, but I will get my bow out and clip in and draw and hold on the deer in the videos on the tv. Site me top pin on the kill zone. It gives you the oportunity to decide where you would shoot that deer. Gets me used to seeing moving deer in my sight picture. Might be silly, but I find that it make me very comfortable in my shot placement. As I've already drawn back on video of a deer quartering to or away.

I've also gone to shops that have video ranges. You screw in a matching blunt point that they normally provide and stand 20 yards back and as the video plays, you shoot the tarp that the video is shot on. then the computer shows were you hit and if it was a 8 ring, 10 ring etc. Again, practicing on video of living animals. Kinda nice to use.

the realtree videos are incredible this year. The deer are huge and there are plenty of them. I personally was disappointed with primos this year they shoot alot of young deer almost like they had no standards still entertaining but not there best piece of work in my opinion. The primos bow dvd is better than the truth but still dont expect many big deer. I have the Drury ones on the way cant wait

Did that cost anything or much? I was always wondering if there were any around me.

I guess to stick with the topic, I've bought the last years Monster Bucks volume 1 & 2 dvds. My uncle has a lot more than I do, which I've watched more than once. Also, it is interesting to see what the hunters were using for equipment, calls, and other stuff. I haven't gotten into getting them all. It's amazing how much the industry has grown now; I think I'd be broke if I bought them all.
