Remembering David "Exturkinator" Ashburn

As many recall, it was one year ago June 4 when 6 men lost their lives as the plane they were in went down over Lake Michigan. Dr. David "Exturkinator" Ashburn was, as we know all too well, among those who died. The University of Michigan Health System is planning an afternoon of events designed to honor and remember "the heroes we lost". For those interested, look at the webpage http://med.umich.edu/heroes2007/index.html for more information.

While this is no doubt a sad and somber time for so many, I ask that you might focus on a couple of things. First and foremost, please continue your prayers of support and strength for his widow, Candice, and for their three beautiful children. Second, rejoice, as does his family, with confidence in the assurance of his place of eternal peace and joy in heaven.

Thanks,

Laura
