This one included deer (both mule and whitetail), elk, piles of bear poop, a thousand gophers (aka Columbian ground squirrels) and then this guy. Check out the claws. I think some of the gophers are in for a rough summer. Early June hikes are great. The ground is carpeted with wildflowers and the view isn't too bad either.
