hutchies
A buddy of mine is planning on starting a 3d range in Southern Oklahoma. Hoping it will suceed long term and keep people involved. He and I have been talking about it and I've given him some great ideas but we need to know what the people want. It will be a 25 target ASA range. Give me your thoughts................ PAbowhunter86
as far as the range goes a good varaition of target ranges and challenging shoots. But at least one night a week have a team shoot the teams consisting of a advanced archer and one - three begginners. This will advance begginners into the better archer and then they will become advanced soon following hopefully returning the favor.

The_Kat
The main thing I like on a course is a variety of targets, with some neat and even unusual setups. Shooting inbetween trees or shooting down a small hole to hit your target is neat. I also like to see a well kept course. Mowed pathways, cut briar bushes, and bow hangers at targets really makes a place stand out to me.
Hoytguy
Free bug repelant at every bow hanging station.
Tony
no brush obscuring any targets. make the shots tough, but no crazy leaning from the stake to have to get the shot off.. implement a 280 fps rule and make differant stakes for the differant classes. Gator
Hutch, is this the course in Durant? The main think I like to see is bow hangers at each target, good clean lanes, no impossible shots, but challenging shots.
hutchies
Yes, It will be Jame Jamison's course. 25 targets total. He is going to host an ASA qualifier next year down here. I hear the course it pretty challenging. I shot 12 ring a couple weeks ago and I hope Jame's is every bit as good as theirs. That course is hard..........but fun. Here is Jame's post with the info. http://www.oklahomaoutdoors.org/forums/showthread.php?t=
Gator
Cool. Think me and okiedog are gonna try and make it down to his shoot, most likely Sun. I haven't shot in a good month-two months, so it should be interesting!
