RangerClay Posted June 8, 2008 Report Share Posted June 8, 2008 Howdy All, The 3rd Annual Realtree Can/Am Golf Get Together is history. It was a beautiful day for golf. Conditions were a little wet but a great time was had by all. As for scores, the Canadians came on strong in the beginning but the barley sodas caused their came to slip as the day went on. The Americans and their outstanding ability to drink beer and golf made a strong comeback but it wasn't enough to overtake them and Big Joe Muff won by 3 strokes. I'm sure the others will elaborate on the days events so I will share some pictures. Mighty Joe Muff driving one down the fairway. Shaun showing us how it's done. Brian (QDMAWorks4me) is judging the distance to the green RangerClay lining up to send a really nice Callaway golf ball straight down the fairway. As I said, conditions were a little wet "What a great day, eh!" Our good friends the ducks Had a good chuckle when we discovered that they forgot to mow the 9th green! But Muff's cousin owns the course, what do you expect.:D Came back to Muff's for a fine venison lunch!! Then the crossbow tournament began! Here is Shaun trying to take aim. He sure taught that rock behind the decoy a thing or two! :D:D A parting shot before everyone went home I want to shoot a personal thank you to Muff and his family for all that they did!! Can't believe this was our 3rd of many years doing this! Time sure goes by quick. We'll all have to get together one weekend this summer to do some fishing somewhere.
